Two drivers were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after a Tuesday night collision in Pacific Beach which left them and two passengers injured.
A 25-year-old woman was driving south on Pendleton Street about 11:15 p.m. in a Volkswagen Jetta when she came to the intersection of Garnet Avenue, where she was going to make a left turn, said San Diego police Detective Dan Wall.
“She pulled out right in front of a westbound car,” Wall said.
A 26-year-old man was driving a Toyota Corolla and could not avoid the collision. His car skidded into the Jetta, broadsiding the driver’s side door, Wall said.
The woman, identified as Jenna Lloyd, was treated at a hospital for a leg injury and released. Lloyd, who was driving alone, was booked into Las Colinas Detention Center and was being held on $50,000 bail.
The man, identified as Zachary McBeth of Davis, suffered a fractured arm and was hospitalized. One of his passengers suffered a fractured pelvis and a head injury. Another passenger suffered a possible broken nose but declined treatment, Wall said.
