Street Lights Needing Repair – dangerous pedestrian hazardDecember 29, 2009 No Comments
Many important intersections in PB are in need of streetlight repair or replacement. The following is a map of these streetlights. This map will also be sent over to the San Diego City Streets Division so they can make the necessary repairs. Here’s the list in a spreadsheet format. We’ll report back when they are repaired.
Many streets in PB could use better lighting – especially along Rivera St., Ingraham Ave. in the Crown Point area. For $25/month SDG&E will put a streetlight on any pole in the neighborhood. So, for all the condo-complexes along Rivera Ave. for instance they could have a light put in for a very low cost. Lighting increases pedestrian, traffic and property safety. Just click here to contact SDG&E about this program.
If you see a streetlight or other signal, sign or implement that needs repair just click here to visit the San Diego City Street’s reporting tool.
