Parking – Where are all the bar and restaurant parking lots?March 26, 2008 No Comments
From my understanding bars and nightclubs are supposed to provide parking to their customers. I believed this was part of their zoning requirements – in order for them to open up for business. I’ve done a really cursory inventory of exclusive, reserved and common parking spaces provided by the bars and restaurants below.
Notice the critical shortage of parking for all of these establishments (and note there are many smaller bars and restaurants not mentioned here).
Do you believe the City should continue to allow these high-volume businesses to not provide parking for their customers?
How should we address this critical shortage?
