There are a few groups working on alcohol-related issues in Pacific Beach. You can help by attending their meetings, addressing the group during public comment periods (usually at the beginning of meetings) and meeting the individuals that are working hard to help make PB a safer more enjoyable community for all businesses, residents and our guests from around the world.
Pacific Beach Community Planning Group | Alcohol License Review Committee (ALRC)
This group assists city’s planning department in reviewing local building and community planning issues and to provide a voice for our community. The ALRC committee reviews applications for all new and modified liquor licenses in PB.
Pacific Beach Town Council
This group is dedicated to enhancing, improving, and protecting our unique community and has been serving as the neighborhood’s voice for 55 years. The PBTC also reviews alcohol license applications on an informal basis.
Special Events Committee
This committee was formed to allow representative community stakeholders to review and give recommendations to City officials regarding Pacific Beach events.
Discover PB (BID) | Hospitality Task Force
